Tristram Powell with Martin Gayford

Our third Film Night was a great success with a capacity audience turning out to watch Lust for Life; Hollywood's 'worthy' biopic on the turbulent life of Vincent Van Gogh. The evening was presented by film director Tristram Powell along with his guest speaker Martin Gayford, art historian and writer of The Yellow House: Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Nine Turbulent Weeks in Arles.

Our 6th Studio Exhibition starts this weekend. Part of Lambeth Open studios- there are other artists close by that you can also visit. I recommend going to see the work of stained glass artist Anna Sklovsky at 26 Stockwell Park Crescent, SW9- after you have been to us of course!

Artists showing this year include Lucy Annan, James Anderson, Michelle Avison, Liz Bennett, Inma Berrocal, Christine Bibby, Simon Burder, Trevor Green, Dee Harding, Grania Hayes, Sophie Herxheimer, Lee Johnson, Sophie Le Bourva, Alex Le Fevre, Emmanuelle Loiselle, Jane Millar, Saori Parry, Sarah Praill, Virginia Powell, Tristram Powell, Jane Skead, Peter Smith, Philip Solly, Matt Young and Claire Willberg.

Time for our Annual Studio Exhibition. We will be showing work by studio and invited printmakers in South London. Let's hope the weather holds out for the first weekend in October, and that you can join us on Saturday, Sunday, or for drinks and sausages on Saturday night.
